Helping you have a better life with your best friend
The PuppTech Mission
To help you have a better life with your best friend. Wherever you go with your dog, and whatever you do when you get there, we’ll always be there to make sure your dog is safe.
Our story begins in the mountains of Colorado when our founders, William and Windham, spent a great weekend hiking with their dog Clovis.
On the way home they stopped for lunch, and it ended up being one of worst they ever had; instead of enjoying it, they spent the entire time running out to the car to make sure Clovis wasn't getting too hot. Back in Denver William's vet told him he should have either left Clovis at home for the entire weekend, or not stopped at all.
They decided there had to be a safer way to travel with a dog in a car, and have been working on PuppTech — a cutting-edge dog car temperature monitor — ever since.
Meet Our Team
We're technologists, business people, and, most importantly, dog lovers. We're driven by a desire to create innovative technology solutions to help make the world a happier place for all dogs.
I left my career as an engineer two years ago to start PuppTech. I founded PuppTech out of a desire to spend more time on adventures with my dog Clovis without having to worry about leaving him in the car. I have a BA in Engineering from Bates College and a Masters in Engineering from the Colorado School of Mines.
Director of IoT
As PuppTech's Director of Communications, I am an innovative technology leader with 20+ years experience building products and leading technical teams. I have a passion for digitally transforming businesses to create value and competitive advantages. I have a proven track record for analyzing, architecting, designing and developing technical systems and commercial enterprise solutions.
Director of Communications
As Director of Communication, I make sure that communication within the company and between the company and our customers remains open and robust. And as a dog lover, it is a pleasure of mine to oversee our marketing and social media campaigns. I have experience from multiple startups both past and present, and love the incredible team here at PuppTech.
I've always loved writing - I believe it is the most versatile form of expression. By combining that skill with a fascination for how people make decisions, I get to know PuppTech's market through our social media and blog.
Video Content Manager
Growing up campaigning for a pet, adopting a dog is one of my fondest memories and watching movies were always a part of my life. As the Video Productions manager I can combine the two; I am responsible for creating, editing and managing Pupptech's video content and promotions.
For me, there’s nothing more enjoyable than taking my dog out for a walk on a beautiful Colorado evening. My philosophy is that everyone can make a difference in something with a little bit of effort, and I hope to make a difference by helping people spend more time with their pets. At PuppTech, I conduct research and help manage our customer relations by answering questions and serving as a liaison for our customers.
Graphic Design Manager
Growing up, my house was never dog free and I have no intention of changing that status. Photography has always been a passion of mine. As the Graphic Design Manager, I help manage PuppTech's digital content.

May 2017 was an exciting month for PuppTech and our friends at Denver 7 did 3 consecutive stories about us. This one was the first, and our favorite.
In July 2016 we pitched our business for the first time in public to the Startup Fuse community— and won. Our prize was this video which tells our story very early on in our development.
